Modern, stylish and impressive
Regional highlights as an image concept
The large-format CCS Lightboxes transform the interior into a stylish and inviting space for patients.
There’s a great backstory for why a zepplin was chosen as the leit motif.
The former, historically-listed department store of merchant Hugo von Othegraven in the heart of Mülheim has been extensively renovated. Now the building serves as a business and medical center and was given the concise name “The O”, inspired by the name of the original owner.
The airship is also based in Mülheim. This airship, known well beyond the region, is affectionately called “Theo” (named after Theo Wüllenkämper). There is an image where “Theo” hovers over “TheO”. Then the idea was born to have images of the airship hovering over the Mülheim area. The compositions were realized by the CCS creative team. The 4 backlit large formats show Mülheim’s modes of traffic: aviation (the airport), freeway (the Ruhrtalbrücke), waterway (the Ruhr) and railroad (the Ringlockschuppen).
Thanks for entrusting us with this exciting creative task and congratulations on the modern and inviting atmosphere in the practice.
